The Faulted Circuit Indicator DPF is indicated for the detection and location of short circuits in underground MV distribution lines.

By using the management software DPFGUI, is able to programming DPF functional parameters as well as the acquisition of it's logs of alarms, events and load trend.

- Detection of short-circuit currents between phases and
   phase-to-earth in non-isolated networks.
- Two versions available: the DPF-3 or Stand Alone Model
   connects to a GPRS transmitter where the narrow-band
   PLC technology can not be used, and the DPF-4 model,
   which includes a PLC modem that works in
   Band A CENELEC.
- The communication system is independent from
   the network topology changes.
